First Look at the 2013 Ram 1500!

Introducing the 2013 Ram 1500 pickup truck! It may not look that much different from the 2012 on the outside, but the truck is boasting with interior improvements that are sure to excite any truck lover. A new V-6 engine, an available eight speed transmission, fuel economy enhancing technology and an overall interior makeover are just the beginning. On the exterior a few subtle changes have been made as well. The grille is taller and the front bumper is different and both the headlights and taillights come standard with LED bulbs.

Additionally, buyers will again have a choice 10 different trims, a rear- or four-wheel-drive; regular, Quad, or four-door Crew Cabs; and short, medium, and long bed lengths. A new bed and cab configuration, the mid-length six-foot, four-inch bed with the four-door Crew Cab and the newly available rain-sensing windshield wipers, and power-folding mirrors round out the 1500’s exterior updates.

The 2013 Ram 1500 will have 305 horsepower under the hood with a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine, thus adding 90 additional horsepower and 34 more Ibs of torque overall for greater efficiency. The base model will come standard with a 3.6 liter V6 engine, automatic transmission, 4WD, Navigation system, Bluetooth, iPod input, Satellite radio, side/curtain airbags, and stability control.
