Doing Away with the Chrysler Town & Country or the Dodge Caravan; Which One Will Become a Crossover?

News from the Chrysler Corporation! As market trends change, Chrysler is currently deciding which of its minivans, The Dodge Caravan or the Chrysler Town & Country, will carry on as a minivan and which will become a crossover. Chrysler has some big changes planned for its next generation minivans. What we know so far is that It’s unlikely that both the Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country will return, meaning only one will make the cut. While there has been previous talk of the Town and Country being the sole minivan offering and the Caravan becoming the crossover, the final outcome will depend on what consumers want. For now, the company will continue to test different concept cars. Below is a picture of a Chrysler 700C crossover concept car. It should be exciting seeing what they come up with over the next year. A final decision has yet to be made, but what’s certain is that Chrysler won’t abandon the segment it invented some 30 years ago. Both of Chrysler’s new people carriers will go on sale in late 2014 as 2015 models.
